I have loved the toyotas with 22r engines. Last forever. The body rusts way fast though.

This truck is a great truck to drive and is a very good build block, it has many ways you can go with this truck. Since it is a toyota that gives u plenty of motor options to swap into like the infamous 2JZGTE or if u like bagged trucks like me then there are alot of things you can go with to get the perfect setup

I love its dependability , but hate the amount of rust on it ! What can you expect for an 18 year old truck with 481 thousand km's on it ?? I have owned it since October 2000 , and on average it costs me about a grand a year to keep on the road ! I've changed the cab and front sheetmetal once , had the rearend rebuilt and last fall I changed the box and fixed the frame to get it to pass inspection ! I get better milieage than my mother who owns a new Saturn VUE , its a blast to drive , handles like its on rails and stops on a dime !
