EXTERIOR The basic model Ford is mainly driven by people who just sit all day turning slowly into beige. That's because it's the last car to turn any heads. The faster RS model actually looked pretty good because of the flashy facelift. If a young bloke wanted a sleek looking escort, he had two options: buying the RS, or fitting the basic model with the same bodykit (all show and no go, that is) My Escort modifications: -RS Bodykit -Turbo air vents -Racing exhaust -Sport suspension INTERIOR Well, there isn't any. But there are plenty of aftermarket steering wheels, gear knobs, pedals and seats that suit perfectly the escort's sporty exterior. SAFETY None:) ECONOMY Insuring is cheap, but fuel economy is terrible, 26 miles to the gallon. That's in the same category with Porsche Boxter!!

interior of this car is total standard apart from stereo, exterior is standard to apart from tsw alloys and chrome rst badges, under the bonnet is where car gets interesting, k&n filter, unichip, kent cam con rods,full magnex stainless steel exhaust system, baileys dump valve,1.8d starter motor(lasts longer) 1.8diesel gearbox(shorter ratio gearing)

My very first car, so of course I loved it! From memory, it was a red five door 1.3 Popular - not an option given here. Nearly killed myself on a roundabout when the gearbox knackered and went through the steering column a week after I passed my test, but still great. Fairly cheap to run, cost next to nothing to buy, parts were easy to come by so it was quite straightforward getting the many repairs that it needed done. It was an old car when I bought it, so that was to be expected.

performance: The 1.4i in the mk4 escort for european market. the acceleration is not fast but it goes forward, upphil it lacks power so you have to shift gears down. handling and braking: my car has rs turbo unddercarriage so it sits good on the road and breaks good. Build quality: it is allright not bad but not good. Appearance: standar look with fog light in the bumper Cost of owner ship: no idea it's not wery expensive when it's working 100% Fun factor: wery good car, but new car is better comfort
