A great little car. Only thing wrong was when something broke it cost a fortune to just order the part and replace. I got the car for $150 and it lasted me about a year. It was a good buy and didn't break down too much.

Straightline performance is quite good and can be dramatically increased by next to nothing (turbo models only ofcourse). Handling however... Not that impressive. It looks quite horrible, but I guess Saab's are supposed to. You do get quite a large car for your money and with decent equipment. The body has even been quite safe once upon a time, but most of them are too corroded nowadays. Of course now that they're all tuned to the max (turbo engines) and the bodies are rotten they're far from being safe. Consumption isn't that great either. I wouldn't recommend one anymore because they're all rotten by now. If you see one on the road it's probably held together by the paint.
