Wonderful V8 supercar that still passes the test of time. Without doubt, light years ahead of its time design wise, and still retain class. The original 1978 car was supposed to replace the 911, however that was never to be, it was a car that stood alone on its own merits. The interior, even in 1978 (mine is a 1989) was from another planet. Innovations include aluminium panels to save weight, rear sun visors (yes in the back seats) and 170 top speed that in its day was the fastest production car in the world !! Today, in the UK, you can own one of these mega cars for a couple of grand. They do cost a few quid to own and maintain but for me they will always be worth it !!! Wonderful !!!

check for all records talk to any body whos worked on the car if possible have it check out by a mechanic and if it checks out buy it and join a club for 928's over all a good car no problems if taken care of -buy a radar detector

928 is a Great Car, in saying that they will nickel & dime you to death ...I grew up working on German cars..if you not capable of working on the older vehicles I dont recommend it...another great car is the 944 turbo
