05.17.09 - As of now, I've had the car for about two months. I purchased the car with 48,700 miles and it is currently sitting with 59,600 miles. At 52,000 I had to put on a new power steering pump. The brakes are starting to need replacing and I'm quite sure that I should change out the shocks as well. Even though there are not a lot of miles on the vehicles, it is still twenty years in age. I'm averaging about 23 mpg with more aggressive driving and I can get close to 30 mpg if I Sunday Driver the car. The 3.1 litre V-6 delivers a good kick of acceleration, both from a dead stop and for a freeway pass. The car handles well and is fun to drive. Sometimes while parking I feel like the car should be wider and tend to mis-align the vehicle. I attribute this to the spacious interior. There is comfortable room for four adults of most any size. Five adults can fit as long as one of them is smaller. The hood is long with a bit of an overhang that took a little getting used to, but with the four wheels pushed out to the corners, handling is fantastic. Cargo space on my specific model is almost magical. The trunk lid is large, and inside it is double the length, and wonderfully deep (we fit three LIVE adult bodies inside with a bit of room to spare). If the mob ever wanted a sports car, this is it.

This was a true old lady car before I got it, only driven to the store and back for most of it's life. I've only had one problem (ignition module went out) but it was probably due mostly to it's age. Great car; does surprisingly well on gas, handles amazingly, smooth driving, impressive to look at, and my mechanic loves it (though he hasn't had to work on it much). Comfortable to drive with lots of room, I haven't gotten to ride in it but the people that have seem even more comfortable. My only complaint is that it's a little large for easy parking in most places. Most likely getting something newer soon (I'll be commuting about an hour to and from school at least twice a week and I'm not sure if a 24 year old car can take that for too long or if I can afford to make it) but I almost hate to let it go.

I loved this car for my whole entire life since my grandpa bought it new. It's a reliable little coupe and if you take care of it, it will take care of you. I'd give anything to go back in the day and buy a second one. I love most of the Buick Regal designs from 1977-1990. Everything in my car is standard but it's still the best Buick regal on the American road.

This car had it's problems. It was good on gas bu the engine and transmission were crap. It was stylish for a buick and very comfortable. It was the first car that I purchased on my own, usually you learn from those mistakes.
