The performance is very solid, but it can't peel out due to the great weight on the drive wheels, it muds very well. It is very solidly built, and has many interesting body features that i have seen in very few cars. It is also a very good looking car and nicely proportioned. It has incredible mileage considering its weight and engine size, I have gotten more than 30 mpg regularly. It is a very fun car to drive and grips the road tenaciously, aiding already formidable acceleration and very precise handling. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for an affordable car that is quite luxurious and has good enough performance for almost anyone.

I always thought buicks were for old people. They are actually pretty quick. Maintnence is pretty easy. There are a couple of electrical difficulties, but nothing that can't be fixed. 6 cylinder getting a little less than 20 mpg highway.

That is what we called it, my first car! It was $400 and beat to utter crap. I have a lotta good memories in it though, just did a lotta stupid things that still makes me smile.

the handled like a dream. maintenance was a little high. parts were hard to come by sometimes. engine was strong, braking was good when i changed the rotors and pad and drums and shoes. it needed body work and paint and the inside well needed a good cleaning and had lots of space. gas mileage was good as long as i wasn't driving like a dumbass. lots of fun to drive and it was a rare body style.

I sold this car to a friend last year I'm glad to say its still on the road every day I kinda regret selling it Buick made a great car when they made the century. The paint is bad windows don't work prices are falling off its almost 24 years old. Its dependadable still runs great LOL the steering column broke the Hood has a coat hanger to open it it was a great car to our family granny bought it in December 1988 I bought it in 2009 drove it till 2011 and bought a lesabre. I give this car a 5 cause its still on the road 24 years later its amazing God bless Buick making great cars last along time
