I miss my old 924S. As far as performance it did pretty good for a straight 4. It did better than the 944 since it had the same engine but was lighter. I would still rather have the 944 since it looks better. Build quality was pretty good considering it was 20 years old, and it also got pretty good gas mileage. Very fun to drive, I'd recommend it.

Take left over 70's Audi/Volkswagen bodies engineered for an Audi/ZF trans axle, add modern vacuum controlled climate system/dash/suspension/brakes/5-bolt hubs left over from the early 944, OH YEAH upgraded euro 2.5L 944 motor and transmission from 1988 944 /w (11:1 cr) (1988 only!!!!!!) Spoiler previously a very rare option now standard.
