wasnt a bad car.. got it used and i put a lot of miles on it before the manufacturer's "planned obsolescence" thing kicked in -- transmission died.. twice. once when i was in DC.. $2200.. and again 6 months later in the Amboys. That was fun driving home in 2nd gear heh.. straight to the junkyard. other than that, never had an issue with it

over all not a bad car.graet family car,good fuel economy,good handling.good perfomance for it time,but it was a little funny looking.it died a 344 000kms. i had to change head gasked around 260 000kms and tranny went at 344 000 kms at that point car was no worth fixing.

Oh, Alice the family station wagon! It went through driving to Smith College multiple times in Western MA and years of grocery shopping, trips to Canada, and the Southern US, and all over New England. It went through all three kids before her brakes failed on me one night my Senior year of HS. She was awesome, comfy and 100% 80's well loved family beater! We all loved her, and she was a great car! =)
