The 1985 model year saw the introduction of a new trim level, the Honda Si. The Si was more powerful and chock full of luxury features. The base 1985 Honda Prelude came with a 100-horsepower, 1.8-liter four cylinder engine. The Si upgraded to a 2.0-liter. It also had a spoiler and plenty of interior features, like power windows and doors, cruise control, and a graphic equalizer on the sound system. The 1985 Honda Prelude has many loyal fans who say the car is very reliable, gets good gas mileage, and looks good inside and out. Some drivers have had problems with peeling paint, and many complain that the back seat is too small.
