The 1985 Impala would be the last of the model the world would see for almost a decade.
Not satisfied to let the car die with a whimper, Chevy upped the engine to a 262-ci, 4.3-liter V6 rated at 140 horsepower. Optional engines included a 305-ci V8 rated at 165 horsepower and a 350-ci V8 rated at 105 horsepower.
Several of these cars can still be found today, and they can make for wonderful restoration projects.
