This miserable turkey belonged was my wife's car. We bought it for Saab's safety reputation, as we had babies at the time. We were misinformed. The only thing safe about it was that it often wouldn't move at all. Everything on this car felt heavy: the stick, clutch, steering, everything. I felt like I needed to work out at the gym to manhandle it around. A Ford Explorer is nimble by comparison. A cast iron skillet is nimble by comparison. A defective cruise control caused it to run away on me. That was only part of the fun of driving this thing. I finally told my wife that if this car was there when I got back in the evening, I was leaving her. It was gone.

the 900 sedan is the most stunning of the saab range, 2 litre turbocharged engine provides uplifting performance which surprises drivers of more modern cars as you easily cruise past them! Build quality is solid and reliable, appearance is elegant, interior is comfortable and well planned, the fun factor is well off the charts - every time I drive this car I can't wipe the smile from my face for hours, she always does EXACTLY what you ask her, the handling is superb and you can fling her into a corner knowing that she'll grip like a limpet and accellerate out with never a scary moment. Cost of ownership is a little higher than the average car, but not much, and this is NOT an average car - this is the most beautiful and fun car you will ever drive, and well worth the couple of extra £ on the fuel consumption ;) She's for fun, not for money saving! AND YES SHE *IS* 1984 - the number plate was an error by the DVLA when we imported her!

Ate lots of gas, also overheated at motorways if you drove too long at speeds over 130km/h otherwise a good solid car wich didn't need repairs. sold it after i crashed it to a tree at winter time. but it was my first car.

Dont Ever Buy one of these cars!!!!!!!!! you will spend more money into it to get it fixed then it is to go buy a new one.
