The original balls out 4WD rally car. Never forget seeing one of these with all wheel spinning around a corner on a dirt road in Belgium. 2.2 5 cylinder turbo, a very distinctive sound and a bodyline that is square yet curvy. No extra's or frills, a very functional package for what it was designed to do. WIN.

this car is 26 years old. it's the big cousin to the scirroco & the family resemblence shows. Auto Union Deutschelande Ingolstadt has always been at the forefront of road & track performance. engineered to run the autobahn : it still holds it's place on US roads at 25 -27 mpg without turbo or quattro! teutonic styling inside & out still contemporary, functional, eye catching.
