Had a 1980 Gran Prix SJ . Black with black landau top, honey interior, t tops and all power. 301 Pontiac V8. Camshaft was replaced under warranty. Transmission was rebuilt at 72,000 miles. T tops leaked worse than a convertible. . Traded the car for a 1979 Rivera with 3,000 miles.

its my beater beast beatrice named due to its rusty body and cracked wind shield but the fact that i dont even have a radio in it and i can set off car alarms just from driving by makes it fun to drive

this was my first car and i still own it. i got about 9 mpg, and it had a lot of little problems. but the car was 25 years old when i got and the guy who owned before me had put it through anything and everything. the motor still runs good. the body has very little rust and just a few dings. i have the 265 v-8 in it which lacks power, but it is still really fun to drive. i would recommed this car if someone has a few hundred dollars and want a fun project car. thats what it started out to me and i ended up useing it for my one and only car for over a year. it is now back to a project car. and still runs!

Ive owned over 35 grand prix's and numerois other g-bodies. I love them. They are easy to work on and accept modifications easily. Ride and handle great. Not to mentipn I love the attention you get from driving an old classic.
