My project car for the last 2 years,I have fitted a 1600 twin port (std) apart from a sports exhaust system.with the valuable help of my son-in-law (Eric) we stripped the whole car down, cut out some rust areas along with turning it into a convertible. I have been a Vdub nut for over 40 years,I find them easy to work on and with contacts in various vdub clubs, parts are never a problem.I will update when she finally rolls out!

I drove one for 14 years; it started and ran well every day! What more could you ask? After that, when I saw one, I would always smile and wish I had never sold it. I recently bought another 1973 Super Beetle. Still always worth a smile.

Its a Beetle, whats not to like? Oh, well no heat, horsepower, or any special features, but still fun to own. Has new 1600cc engine. Gets lots of attention while driving. Fun at car shows. Cheap classic car on gas.
