It's a blast to drive. It's sporty Italian design gives it it's great lines, making it a real head turner. Best bang for the buck. You don't know what fun means till you drive an MG B GT. Make sure to buy a chrome bumper version (pre 1974 1/2).

Fun to drive, especially with the top down. This car was great when it ran...very finicky to sync carbs and to keep running smoothly. Electrically, TERRIBLE, which amazes me since it is quite damp in England where it is built, yet British Leyland (the company that provides all of the electrics) made connections out of metals that corrode easily in dampness!! This resulted in connections failing and things not working any more!

When these vehicles were first manufactured, some UK police forces used them for Motorway Patrol! What a great job that must have been :)) Solidly built with a bullet proof mechanicals these cars are fun to drive and fit like a glove. The Roadsters are far more desirable than the GTs. Compared with modern machinery these cars are slow and thirsty.

MGBs are right up there with Triumphs Austin Healy’s etc A joy for touring on country roads. A drivers car.
