Overview

In just its second year on the market, the 1970 Blazer was already outselling the Ford Bronco. The 1970 K5 had a short wheelbase, and was available in two- or four-wheel drive.
A choice of four engines greeted consumers in 1970: the standard was a 4.1-liter, 250-ci I6. Upgrades included a 4.8-liter, 292-ci I6, as well as two V8's: a 5.0-liter, 307-ci V8 and a 5.7-liter, 350-ci V8.
These trucks remain very popular among those wishing to restore a bigger vehicle. Some of the roofs have been altered over time, but can be replaced yet again.

We called it the beast it was lifted 6 inches had 35's and I was in high school, it was a good time. There were some electrical problems and the breaks had been neglected for a long time. But when you punched the gas it would go and you could watch the fuel gauge move.
