About 1964 Chevrolet Corvette
Overview

The 1964 Chevrolet Corvette continued the Corvette's trek to become the premier muscle car. In the "looks" department, the unpopular (among most) split rear window was removed, as were the fake hood vents. A three-speed fan was available to improve ventilation.
Chevrolet manufactured 8,304 Sting Ray coupes and 13,925 convertibles. Engines were available as a 327-ci, 250 horsepower all that way up to a 327-ci, fuel-injected machine capable of 375 horsepower (known among muscle car fans as the "L84 Fuelie").

I've owned my 64 roadster since 2004. Overall, it's a very fun car to drive. You definitely draw a lot of attention in an older Vette. Mechanically the car is very solid. The handling and suspension are very good for a car 40+ years old. My car is primarily driven in the summer. If it was used as a daily driver, my review would be different. To me, the styling of the C2 more than make up for the lack of power steering and power brakes.

This is a sports/muscle car, the suspension and ride are very firm but perform very well with the proper tires (narrow ties of the sixties are not the way to go if your car is a driver, they'll get you into trouble). The car is a thrill to drive, an attention getter, and a lot of fun as well. Mechanically, the car is simple by today's standard and is easy to work on when the occasion arises. I say I love the car and I guess I do for what it is, a Toy and a Hobby, if it were my sole means of transportation I would rate it differently.
