The 1958 Chevrolet Corvette featured a redesign of both interior and exterior features. Some thought the changes to be tacky for the time; too much chrome, too much shaping. However, yesterday's ugly duckling is today's swan, and many Corvette fans love the 1958's styling. Among available colors was Regal Turquoise, an interesting combination (since when does royalty sport blue-green?)
Regardless, the '58 'vette could produce, as evidenced by the speedometer notched to 160 mph. A 283-ci four-barrel engine rated at 245 horsepower was the most popular engine, but a 283-ci, fuel-injected version could achieve 290 horsepower.

She was a short track racer that had been hit in the front right corner. the old man that owed it lost his eye sight and could't race any more. he advertised it as a race car only, but i reconized it right away from my boy hood dreams. She currently has 425 hp and tires from a dodge caravan. she is the greatest car ever made, with the HD suspension there are only 144 of these to grace the earth

This pic of the Corvette is not one of mine. This is what mine is bound to look like though. My dad and I are fixing it up and plan to put a 383 stroker in it and possibly nos later on. The car i know is going to be a light blue, maybe a little darker than this blue. We plan to add some type of flames in the white coves. The flames will most likely be blue. The frame is all restored and the body has been re-fiberglassed, so all we need to do is join the two halves and will have one killer Vette.
