I came to test drive a car and really wanted to buy it however, there were several issues with the car that we found suspicious. There was overpaint on passenger window edge and at closer look the whole side of car had been repainted. No explanation. Front rim was scratched/scraped. Hood did not fit snugly with car frame- all looked like an accident cover up. It may not have been Carmax but surely they should have done a better job of inspecting and priced accordingly and being transparent. The steering wheel lever to adjust it was broken off and inside the cavity it broke off from. Lastly was a rattling that would not go away while driving. We tried to find it and fix it but nothing worked. Again no explanation. I also filled out a detailed online application for financing and was supposed to receive in 5 minutes. Its been over 24 hrs and still have not received it. Wasted 3 hours waiting and discussing and only 1 hour was for driving and looking over car. Salespeople were nice.
