I spoke with Mr. Best. He told me that the car was not on the lot because the owner had purchased a car that needed some work. He stated that the owner was pregnant and rather than have her out in the hot sun, she was going to stay in her car until the work was done. This was on Friday, July 3rd. He said that he would get her to bring the car in, put her in another vehicle and meet with me on Monday, July 6 for a test drive. He assured me he would put the car to the side. Well, Monday I received a notification from CarGurus that the car had been sold. Silly me.
