Very professional Concerned about my preferences

sent my inquiry for a car with a listing price of $6.9k, asked for a price sheet many times, and finally got an OTD for $13.5k. which is 195% of the listing price. Asking if the markup can be removed. No further reply.

I got an email response, but didn't get any further communication. I didn't call back the dealer after receiving the email.

The dealer contacted me right away. They did not have what I was looking for at the time. They were very professional and pleasant.

Dealership contacted us to see exactly what we were looking for. We were not able to make it there for several reasons. They made a few more contacts and were always respectful and professional. We will be buying in the near future and we will make be sure to visit there before we make a decision.

Very generic interaction, waste of time. Dealer sends template emails with no additional useful information. They act like they are working up an internet deal yet don’t make any adjustments to the price and send a template response not explaining the reason for any further price adjustments. Waste of time!

When talking to the salesman he got irate. Called me back 2 hours later and told me the truck was sold. Other salespersons from the same dealer have been calling me days later to ask when I will come to the dealer for a test drive of the same vehicle. I went elsewhere and bought a F-250.

Bait and switch. The advertisement says is that another dealership and can be transferred. I called and they told me that's just how they advertise on CarGurus. He told me it was in transit but already sold to another customer.
