Lack of communication I am still waiting on the finance numbers from them. Seem they to busy to really help anyone.

We were pre-approved for a $500 down payment and when we got there they changed it to $2000. They lie to get you there, then they run a hard check on your credit and call your employer.

We were there for a long time with no communication. I almost left because of this. My trade in amount was very low and they are reselling it for a $10,000 profit. After 2 weeks I finally got the paperwork that I signed. Nothing was gone over with us about the vehicle. I had to call another dealership about some of the programs that came with it because they couldn’t answer them.

I got info via text. When I texted on a Tuesday that I was traveling from 3 1/2 hours away & would be coming on Friday to see the truck, I received a response that there are others interested in the truck. I responded & asked for him to let me know if the truck wasn't available since we were traveling so far - no response. I took a vacation day to specifically drive down & see this truck. Friday morning we drove about an hour and I texted them again to let them know we'd be there before noon. The response was "just now seeing this message, the truck is in the shop as it didn't pass inspection." I was quite shocked that they knew on Tuesday I was traveling quite aways to see this & no one notified me prior to Friday morning! I said it would have been nice to know this as I took a vacation day & no one responded!! They closed early on Fri for a company event & didn't bother to inform me. Went to another dealer & bought a truck, cash deal!! Won't go to McLain ever & don't recommend!
