Car is running but electrical shuts off

possible your key is not returning all the way after you start it. Mine does the same thing.

Do you have an aftermarket radio in your car?

i had that problem, and your suggestion of the key position cured it. Thanks, john

Would you elaborate more on how the key position should be and how to accomplish this? I'm having the same issue. Lights and air will go off while driving. Sometimes they come back on, sometimes not.
