On the outer wall of your tires there should be a size on it and it that a 16 and your tire is a 16 it would work but if it is a 14 it would be a lot smaller but i your tires let say a 15 or 14 that a 16 might rub when you turn or hit a bump.
You really shouldn't, they will fit but they are far too tall. Your speedo will be 4mph slower, and with that much oversized there is a very good chance you will break something on your drivetran. you could have axles fail long before they should, your trans could also die, and you will lose a lot of your turning radius. So yes they will fit but no you shouldnt put them on.
Can 19” rims fit on my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclips Gt V6?
Be --- Perhaps if the tires are really low profile. Use an online tire calculator to compare the stock size to what you want.
