Y wont the car start after I just drove

Did it get hot? did it make noise? or did it just shut of for no reason? Some more info please!

Usually the fuel pump failed but please - more information about it will help us help you.

Did you run out of gas? Did you wreck it? Did you drive it into a lake or something? Good riddle... :)

I had it checked and at first they said it was the anti theft device.then the mechanic said it was probably in the fuel filter but did not want to take it apart because if was not that then it cost slot of money for nothing.if I get it started and drive it for half an hour it will start up right away. But if I leave my house and go a half mile to the service station then it won't start after filling.
