Possible causes; Low coolant, engine cooling fan not working, bad thermostat, clogged radiator. They have a clutched fan and a secondary electric fan that kicks on to cool the motor. Also, the relays for the fans may be bad, go to your Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment and remove its cover. The relays are identified on the cover. This is a recurrent problem with Jeeps 1992-1993, the radiator is not big enough and the vehicle tends to start running hot as the radiator gets weaker. First check coolant level, then check if the fans work as temperature rises, if they don't check the relays, if they are o.k. change the thermostat and last pressure check the radiator. Flush it first to see it this solves the problem. If you have to replace it, get one with high cooling capacity.
