My 89 Vandura 5.7 lit. idle's so high that when I put it into gear it slams pretty hard into gear. Anyone know how to adjust the idle or whatever I need to do to fix the problem? 3 Answers

Idles high and I can't find any kind of an adjustment screw or anything to adjust. anyone have any ideas?

Is there another sensor on my 1992 GMC 5.7 that would make my temperature gauge not work. I have already changed the one on the front of the engine located near the thermostat. 6 Answers

In addition is there any way to check the stock gauge to see if it is working?
