You would need to work with the dealer of the car you are buying. Cargurus doesn't buy and sell vehicles. You can trade just about any car in, dealers want to make money. My guess is you will be offered less than $8000 to trade it in, maybe $5000 or $6000. You will then need to pay off the residual amount to claim the title or the amount can be rolled into your new loan and payment, which I don't advise.
