2011 chevy malibu

Started car battery light was on went off 2
seconds later drove it 40 miles car died
acted like an alt issue test alt and it was bad
bought new alt but still same problem my alt
isnt charging my battery but its brand new
my brake traction abs and esc come on right
before it dies count to 3 and lose all power
to car have to jump it because it will only run
till battery dies

Sounds like the charging system needs to be checked out, should have it checked while the engine is running, should be 14.5V at the battery when it is charging, so if not the charging system would need to be looked at to see where the problem is. If that is an older battery, have that checked out also, if there is a bad cell, symptoms would be similar.
