BMW 525 not starting but engine spinning

The Veichle Immobilization code for your veichle is stored in the BCM (Body Contlol Module) and the key. The BCM has a set codes that it will accept which are also stored in the keys. The keys can be programmed at the factory or some dealers. The Bcm can be reprogrammed at any location that has the equipment to do this (mostly dealers). Basically, you are stuck going to the dealer for this. If you need the code, you must go to the dealer because they have it stored in their files by VIN#.

why all of a sudden?....think NOT...we have a garden variety starting problem...either the computer is NOT seeing ambient conditions as witnessed by your intake air temperature sensor or it is seeing a hot block with the engine temp sensor and is NOT providing adequate fuel for a cold startup....OR the ignition is weak because the NEGATIVE batttery to GROUND 1/0 battery cable is corroded on the business end of it~
