Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I replaced the part  that connects the 2 radiator hoses
because one busted. I get it repaired and my engine light,
electric light and temperature light come on. The
temperature shows to be very high. After putting
antifreeze in the tank it’s still begains to get to hot. Going
down toad at a tops of 55 mph and at 3 RPMS. Note no
water or anything else on oil stick. What is the problem?
