Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ignition switch was going out, ran through some
water and went out next day to leave. It started ran
about a mile and then stalled on me. I had it towed
to a mechanic and they replaced the ignition switch
and the cranking issue was fixed but the starting
issue continued. I got the car home, it has now
been 5 days since I ran it through the water and it
will now crank, start, run, and drive but I havent
taken it any further than my neighborhood bc I'm
scared it will stall again. Did I get lucky? Or is it
going to die on me as soon as I let my guard down?

I'm pretty sure he did change the ignition switch bc we have been having issues with the ignition switch since we got the vehicle. We had to hit the bottom of the steering column at times before it would crank, the lights on the dash would also blink on and off and several other things that led us to thinking that the ignition switch needed to be changed. After changing out the ignition switch we no longer have to do any of things we had prior to get it to crank. I did get brave enough to take it out this morning and it ran just fine other than it idling a little rough when you put the brake on but it never did stall or cut back out again. We also reset the computer and we no longer have any more lights on(so far anyway) I just dont know. A few days ago I thought I was looking at a big repair bill or having to scrap the car altogether and now, its driving as if nothing happened. I think its possessed lol

Now I'm getting a PO335 code after a few days it started acting up again and that's code I'm getting from my obd reader. But, after I cleared the code now the car cranks and runs like it always have. Ugh! This car is possessed! Lol

It's been towed back to the mechanic and they say it's the fuel pump. I just dont know.
