Price for parts/labor to replace timing belt and water pump for 2006 2.4L turbo

Asked by Alisagc Apr 24, 2019 at 02:24 PM about the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey there; Just bought a sweet used PT cruiser - previous owner has no
recollection of any timing belt change - car has 142,000 miles on it, so we are
going to play it safe and just get the work done.  Looking for any tips, hints,
and ideas on what I should expect for parts, and labor. We have time, so
willing to order parts, so any recommendations there would be great -
thanks!!!!

Maintenance costs can vary greatly around the country. You should try aaa.com or repair pal.com (there are others) that will give you estimates in your area.
