Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Saturn SL1. Recently, the driver's seat decided to do something
weird byt nearly fulling reclining. As a result, this makes for dangerous driving
conditions. Can someone help me get the seat back to the correct position,
please?

Sorry, yes but it sounds like you have to to disassemble the back half of the top half of the seat the seat back that is. Take the seat back off of it and look what's going on inside, unless you can somehow look in at the lever with a screwdriver and see if something just came disconnected but you might have to take the whole thing to an upholstery shop and let them deal with it or take the back half off see if you can repair it yourself if you can get the seat back cover off without damaging it that'd be great otherwise you might have to rip it open fix the problem inside cuz it's most likely a little hook thing and a cable on on a bolt or something to activate it & to free it up so it reclinings & locks again. Sorry to tell you that but looks like it's kind of involved having them tear it open and fix it at the upholstery shop might be the best way to go unless you know how to do upholstery cuz I don't know of a way to get it open without tearing it open to fix the inside guts?
