I had a tuneup, my saturn has 83894mil. The tech conclusion was scan data
inconclusive-all looks good Most likely contributory code is P0341 or P0122
TPS graphs perfectly during symptom CMP output shows definitive glitches
during symptom that could be either faulty sensor or crankshaft regulator
alignment problem must replace camshaft postion sensor & revaluate. They
replaced SCC108 sensor, ckp-n and igc0086 ignition coil ome-n but said
symptom still present (as they feared might happen) PLEASE HELP me i have
no clue if they are trying to just get money I don't really have. If you need more
information from me just let me know.

Possible causes; Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor, Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted, Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection, Faulty starter motor, Starting system circuit Dead (Weak) battery... On some Saturn models the camshaft position sensor is part Ignition Control Module (ICM) (aka igniter)........P0122 SATURN - Throttle Position Sensor 1 Circuit Low Voltage... Possible causes; Faulty throttle position sensor, Throttle position sensor harness is open or shorted, Throttle position sensor circuit poor electrical connection............. Again, this is just for your information....

I have a Saturn 1992 SL Sedan with 164,000 miles. I am having a major problem with the car cutting off while I am driving at a fairly constant speed or when I am idling at a stop light. The engine will shut off, along with the power steering and all other electronics. This happens when at a stop light only after I press on the gas to accelerate from a dead stop, but I am able to put the car in neutral and start the car again (sometimes it takes a while to restart). We tried getting the electronic control module repaired, but this did not fix the problem. We checked the oil and it appears to be of the correct viscosity for the engine. We are at our ends as to what needs to be done to fix this dire problem. Thank you for your time! 8 Answers
