after driving my truck for about 10 minutes it will jump out of overdrive then about 5 minutes after that the transmission temp light comes on. what could this be?

may be a overheat, condition or trans. temp. sensor failing, overheat is bad, check flow at cooler lines at rad .maybe add a better cooler at rad.yours may be too small or clogged

It could be over heating... See if you have fluid flowing through the radiator. Both lines should be warm.
