2005 chevy cobalt automatic

My car wont move after being towed from
ditch and transmission makes grinding
noise, the tow truck driver showed up while i
was in side waiting and just ripped it out on
to the pavement while it was in park and
now it wont move forward or back and the
car just acts like its in neutral the whole time
and makes grinding noises when its in gear

I didnt check the fluid level but it was functioning perfectly before the incident without making even as much as a squeak and now it sounds like you threw nuts and bolts in a blender

Cobalts aren't very heavy, so dragging them while in park, while not a great idea, still will not likely do any harm. Driving it into a ditch however can potentially do all kinds of bad things. Either you or a mechanic need to get underneath and go over everything to see what may have been bent or damaged when you went off roading. If the damage appears to be from when it was pulled out their insurance will cover it. All you need to do is call them and let them know what happened.
