my head gasket is blown 1992 4 runner do you have to take hole engin out or can i just drain oil and hope all the coolent comes out or do i have to tear the hole engine down

When I do head gaskets all I do is an oil/filter change after repair along with a radiator flush. If an extreme amount of coolant entered the oil I will change oil/filter right after repair then let vehicle idle for thirty minutes or so then change it again while engine is hot. But honestly that might be over kill.

No. I always try to use the correct kind for the vehicle. But in a tight I have used the kind that will mix with all types.
