I have a 96 Grand Am the other day after running some errands I got home and when I was going to leave the car didn't turn on. I took the starter in to the Auto Zone it was good also took my battery in and replaced it. I get home I try the car and still nothing. I've tried everything and don't have the money to take it to the dealership. Could anyone help?

Check in at the GAOwnersClub.com - there are many fourth generation owners there. Have some one turn the key to "Start" and check for voltage on the small wires of the starter. It might be that signal to fire the solenoid isn't making it because of a security feature.
