My check engine light came on outta no were
today runs fine oil good nothing changed just light
came on any thought on why

Your check engine light comes on when it detects something wrong. Many of these things will not immediately be obvious when driving, or running the car. As "Tom" says, take to one of many auto parts stores, they will check it for free. So will an auto repair shop, but not for free.
