i swaped the motor in my 2004 taurus with a rebuilt motor same size same engine code, will not run.

car will run for a few min. not long enuogh to get a scan with microscan

Double check everything. Make sure everything was reconnected and in the right spots. Also, I am unfamiliar with whether your model has it or not, but some vehicles require the PCM to be re-flashed if they have been disconnected from the batter for any extended period of time (something worth calling the dealership on).
