Limp mode

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can drive my 2011 Fit for about 10
minutes and then it goes into limp
mode. After that, it will not start up. I
have replaced the spark plugs.
When my mechanic puts it on the
diagnostic machine, no codes
appear. What do you suggest we
check next?

The EGR, clean it or replace it, it can also be tested with a special vacuum tester. Google "EGR limp mode" to learn more. You won't always get a code with a bad EGR, or you may get codes for things like misfires.
