2006 ford e150 fuel problem

can't add fuel,as soon as I start to add fuel the pump shuts off

tom prolly right. i know on benz 202 bodies ive seen charcoal canister shut off valves go bad and do the same thing. or jag xj's with trunk flaps (late 90s) get vent tubes clogged all the time, as they face up.
