stays in neutral and reads check hybrid system

i parked my 2010 prius 1 for a week. started up today. it starts and on the left of the dash the lights with skid marks and !, are on and on the right the lights , brakes, engine , abs and steering are on. also in the center it reads CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM. when i put it into a gear it goes to neutral and won't budge from there. i thank you, raymond

Same exact situation with me 2010 98k miles on it. Tried resetting the system but check hybrid system keeps coming back as soon as I start the car. I’m able to shift the gear when the engine is working but nothing when the engine is off.
