4WD Red blinking light on dash

Asked by jiggsmom Apr 28, 2012 at 04:24 PM about the 2006 Toyota Tacoma

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Tacoma 4x4. Driving in H2 and not attempting to put in H4 or L2. Four-wheel drive indicator light is blinking on and off RED on the dashboard. Local Toyota Service Department has no idea what it means. I can't find anything about this in the Owner's Manual either. What does the red blinking indicator light mean?

Push the Rear Differential button to "off" and the red light should disappear

Check your RR Diff Lock button above your mirror button. Mine was accidentally pushed.
