Fuel leak

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Chevrolet Cobalt has a fuel leak and it's a
steady drip by the back left tire. Does anyone know
how much this is gonna cost me to get fixed?

Hopefully just a fuel line which would be cheap to fix. No way to know for sure until someone takes a look.

GM made sure the fuel lines would rust out by wrapping the fuel lines with a foil type wrap . This is a common problem any decent mechanic should be able to fix it in about 2 hours and 50 dollars in material Good Luck

Or could just need a fuel filter. If its ancient it may have rusted out. Either way it should be an inexpensive fix.
