FRONT AXLE AND HUBS AND BEARING
1 Answer
This is the Mazda 323 based Bantam. Replace the bearings. Use Mo-Di number 5 Molybdenum grease. Make sure all of the old grease is completely cleaned out and fit new seals. Use Shim Stock between the two tapered roller bearings (Not the cones) The torque on the tapered bearings is too high. By using shim stock between the two bearins on both sides , this will put less pressure on each bearing. The Molybdenum Grease has no soap in it, takes far higher pressures and temperature and is water repellant. Ideal for these high pressures.
