I have a 97 Chevy Malibu an the car remote or the alarm system itself has been giving me problems. Somedays it will not crank due to the theft system light blinking & other days it wont unlock at all an I hae replaced the battery. My question is, is there a way to fix this problem with it costing an arm and leg?

i took my 2000 chevy malibu to the dealer to fix the anti theft system fix . the gave me a new ignition and the boot . they did not fix the problem but they took my $497.00 and told me my car is over to years old after they took my money. dealer on silver spring in milwaukee, wi 1 Answer

i just really upset that i took my car to the actual place where they specialize in sells, parts,and service got jack for my money.

Ok I posted three weeks ago about this an was told to check the ignition switch. I did that an still no luck. My car want turn over an I already replaced the following parts.... Spark plugs and wires, battery, ignition switch, ignition cylinder, numerous hoses... I've only been able to start it one an it only ran for no more then 8hrs I'm in need of some ideas or any kind of help. The roof panel and one cross beam on my mother's 2012 Chevy Malibu was replaced 6 monts ago due to a collision with an incompletely opened garage door. The repair looked perfect. Now, two dents have appeared in the roof panel right where the cross beam was replaced. Is it possible that the original repair and welding was botched somehow? 1 Answer
