a993 Camry Timing help needing
Hello and thank you in advance for help with this. I replaced my timing belt and water pump on 1993 Camry. 4 cyl: 1 cam.... After finishing and then starting car, it will barely get up to 10 miles per hour and struggles to get to that speed. I realize the timing is off... A friend told me he could fix it very easy, a simple adjustment. Another friend told me that it is something that I need to get an expert to tweak. HELPPppppppp Who can shed light on this for me?
Question.. 1- When timing is set, will it run 1 of 2 ways... Normal or barely run?
2- Can I drive this to a Mechanic to get the timing set, without harming the motor?
Please help with advice... I'm without a car at this time and need this fixed ASAP..
BTW... this is the hardest thing I have ever done, as for car repair.
