Automatic 04 Frontier starting issues

It's an 04 automatic trans Nissan Frontier Crew Cab (not on trim type list)
Sometimes it won't start, but when you push the shifter further into park, it
starts. We suspect a sensor of some sort that is not accurately identifying
that the car is in part and can be started... If we should also have ben
looking for broken pieces of plastic near the pedals, it's too late as it was
detailed last week - but I wasn't sure if that's just for the manual
transmission versions...

You need to adjust the Park neutral switch on the side of the transmission under the shifter lever.
